Master Franchise

What does a Mortimer-Master-Franchise offer?

A Master-Franchise-Contract gives the Master-Franchise-Partner the right to draw up contracts for the Mortimer Franchise-System with a third party, within a pre-determined contract area.

Mortimer is looking for Master-Franchise-Partners who set up a Mortimer-English Club Franchise System in their homeland which should cover the contract area with Franchise-Partners who work regionally. The Master-Franchise-Partner supports the Mortimer English Club Franchise-System in his contract area and develops it further, gradually setting up a chain of Franchise-Partners who work within the region.

What is franchising?

Franchising is a sales and service system (franchise provider) which offers self-employed people (franchise recipient) a well established concept with which they can work.

Although the development of many service and industrial companies has very much come to a standstill, franchise companies are enjoying continuous growth. Franchising is a modern form of management and a very successful way of establishing your own, self-employed business.

Our franchise recipients work independently and are solely responsible for everything they do. They teach in their home area and are in frequent contact with colleagues working nearby and the system headquarters of Mortimer – English Club.

It is the franchise recipients’ job to win pupils for foreign language lessons, to teach them in this language and convey how much fun it can be to learn it. It is also their job to keep in good contact with the parents of younger pupils and to become qualified in the management of courses through participating in our seminars, which are free of charge.

You decide to what extent you want to work. You can for example work on a small scale teaching two or more groups. This limited practice is very suitable for mothers or fathers looking for fulfilling and challenging part-time work. Or you can increase the workload at any time and either let employees or freelance language assistants teach for you.

Mortimer - English Club provides you with the professional know-how you need and offers comprehensive help and support so that you can fulfil your tasks.
We provide you with teaching materials to help you plan your lessons (teaching books, a thorough teacher’s handbook in which every single lesson is planned and laid out in detail, audio CDs, picture cards, games). We provide you with an extensive concept handbook, advertising tools, information sheets and continuous new information and up-dates to help you start up your self-employed business, including further training in our teaching methods.

Franchise fee

The great advantage of franchising is that the franchise recipient takes on a system that is already on the market and has proved its worth. As a franchise recipient you can set up your own business with very little risk and capital investment.
We have drawn up detailed business plans and profit forecasts to help you with applications for financial support for small businesses.

Mortimer – English Club charges you a start-up fee. The amount depends on the country / size of area. The fee includes initial and further training seminars, teaching materials and the expertise we provide you with. The monthly franchise fee varies according to how many students you have. Our franchise partners also have a share in the profit of sales of stock.

System membership

Our franchise recipients are team orientated, have a sense of belonging and the continuous support from the franchise provider is very important to them. Team effort offers many advantages and increases success and productivity. One of our franchise partners really put her finger on it at the end of her first seminar. “Once again, thank you so much for everything. It was so nice to meet people who believe in what they do and enjoy doing it. (That doesn’t happen very often nowadays).”
